Since it was first conceived in 1995 the Texas Motor Speedway has been a big idea. The track is big, the grandstands are big and of course the NASCAR fun is big. As one of the newest and most modern Speedways on the NASCAR circuit there is tons of excitement beyond the track. Here are a few tips so you can take advantage of all this venue has to offer.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Get your tickets over the Internet from the Speedway's website. If you're going to bring the kids check out the tracks special four-packs of tickets for families. It never hurts to have big fun for little scratch.
Step2
Find hotel and camping accommodations in the area. Since the track is located just outside of Fort Worth and Denton travel accommodations are easy to come by check out the tracks handy accommodation guide on its website.
Step3
Reserve your parking pass ahead of time if you plan on driving to the track. Nationwide insurance provides free electric cart shuttles all over the raceway grounds during race weekends. Just flag down a golf cart or wait beneath a Nationwide flag for your free ride.
Step4
Make use of the fan Pit-Stop areas located around the race track grounds to rest up, cool down or learn a little about the track and the event weekend. The Pit-Stop areas are staffed Thursday through Sunday by track employees.
Step5
Plan your day ahead of time to make sure you have enough time to tour the souvenir grounds and still be in your seat in time for the pre-race show.
