Step1
Review your guest list to calculate the ages of all attending. If you have guests that are underage, you'll want to consider what types of non-alcoholic drinks to serve them as well. It is always good to have a mixed selection for your knitting party so everyone can have a choice.
Step2
Select drinks that are light and fruity for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions. Pina Coladas or daiquiri drinks can be served both virgin and with liqueur. You want to set the mode as fun and relaxing for all your guests whether they like alcohol or not.
Step3
Determine from your guest list any who may have allergies and be sure to include a light beverage they will enjoy such as sodas or juices.
Step4
Consider the time of year you are having your knitting party. Perhaps in wintertime hot beverages such as Pomegranate Cider or hot chocolate will hit the spot. Consider the many varieties of coffee you could offer. One pot will serve many guests. Have a wide selection of cream, sweeteners and other additions available so they can personalize their cups.
Step5
Pick fresh fruits to spice up sodas or water drinks. Sangria is a refreshing alcoholic drink that can be made the night before and served at your knitting party.
