Golfing is a wonderfully relaxing pastime. Give golf lessons, if you enjoy a day on the links and friends are always asking you for golf advice. Giving golf lessons requires a lot of patience and attention to detail. Offer tips and advice to fellow golfers to improve their swing and overall game.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Schedule tee time at a local golf course. Meet the student at a driving range and purchase a bucket or two of balls.

  2. Step 2

Demonstrate the proper golf club grip. Have the student grip the golf club. Adjust the student's hands to the correct position. Tell the student that it may feel funny, but it will help their swing.

  3. Step 3

Show the students the proper stance. Make sure the students have their legs slightly bent and just beyond the line of their shoulders.

  4. Step 4

Lay a golf club down behind the student's golf ball to show the student what path the swing should follow. Ask the students to practice hitting a few balls. Watch closely to see how the students can improve their swing.

  5. Step 5

Stand in front of the students and go through their swing slowly, all the while describing what needs to change. Adjust the student's club position as needed. Repeat this process as the students hit the bucket of balls.

  6. Step 6

Take the students to the putting green. Have the students putt and watch closely for errors. Talk the students through a putt and adjust club position to help maximize follow through.

  7. Step 7

Emphasize that the students must use their shoulder to putt and not the wrists. Help the students to keep their arms straight as they go back and straight as they come through and the club connects with the ball.
