Here's a quickie to help you make a delicious Cherry Cheesecake in 4 easy steps.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 2 8oz. packages of cream cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
  • 1 can of Cherry topping (found in the baking isle at the grocery store)
Step1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step2
Beat together with a mixer or wire whisk the cream cheese (can be softened in the microwave for 20 seconds to make it easier to mix), eggs, sugar, and vanilla until well mixed (no lumps of cream cheese still clumped together). Pour mixture into pie crust.
Step3
Place in preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes.
Step4
Carefully remove from oven when done. Let cool for 5 to 10 minutes and then top with the cherry topping. Using a spoon, dish out as many cherries as you wish to have, and then drizzle the top of the cheesecake with the juice remaining in the can.

Tips & Warnings

  • To make cupcakes rather than the pie, only a few steps and materials are different. You will need a muffin tin, cupcake papers, and finely crushed graham crackers. Put the cupcake papers in the tin, place the graham crackers in the bottom of the papers (the amount is up to you, but generally no more than 1/4 of the cupcake paper cup). Pour the cheesecake filling into the papers until about 1/4 inch from the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. When done, put a few cherries on top of each, and drizzle some of the juice from the can on top of each.
  • Do not under cook this product, as it contains raw eggs.
