How to remover detergent stains from upholstery and carpets

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • old rug
  • water
  • muslin cloth or a dish cloth
  1. Step 1

    sprinkle some water over the satin.
    rather dampen the stain

  2. Step 2

    take an old rug and vigorously rub over the detergent mark until it froths out all the soapy substance.

  3. Step 3

    press hard on the area with a clean muslin or dish cloth until all the dampness is absorbed, repeat the process if necessary

  4. Step 4

    finally wipe clean with some water, this time with out frothing the area.

    now u have a clean, spotless carpet.

Tips & Warnings
  • if u have a dark carpet or upholstery, try using a dark sketch to hide the stain if u cant get rid of it. works wonders.
  • check with the manufacturer before you use any chemicals on the carpets
