I have a semi-rambunctious one-year-old male yellow labrador retriever who brings absolute joy to my mundane life. Since I acquired him from my oldest sister at 3 months, he has given me more than a work-out! Now that he's at 90 lbs, it gets a little difficult walking him because he's now more than half my weight! Then I discovered the link chain collar. It works like magic!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • link chain collar
  • leash
  • cookies/treats
  1. Step 1

The link chain collar can be purchased at any local pet store and ranges from $13.99 to $22.99. If paired with a durable leash, being walked by your beautiful yellow labrador retriever will be a thing of the past.

  2. Step 2

Place the link chain collar around your dog's neck. This task is much easier done if your dog is sitting down.

  3. Step 3

Hook the leash to the link chain collar and lightly pull on the leash to determine the tightness of the collar.

  4. Step 4

Before you head out for your walk, don't forget to bring cookies or treats and a doggie poop-bag.

  5. Step 5

Your dog will feel the links on the chain around his/her neck but it will not hurt them! The link chain collar has helped me walk my dog with ease and safety.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always read the instructions on the label that come with the product for safety.
