How to make Salt and Pepper Shaker Ornaments

Need an easy and inexpensive Christmas ornament for a gift, your tree, or even as a decoration on a gift? I will teach you how.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Christmas salt and pepper shakers
• Ribbon
• Scissors

1. Purchase your salt and pepper shakers.

2. Remove the plug on the bottom of the shakers and cut ribbon to twice the length of the shaker.

3. Thread the ribbon through two holes in the top of shakers and pull the ends out the bottom.

4. Tie a know in the ribbon and put it back inside the shaker and replace the plug.

5. Pull the ribbon up from the top for the hanger. You have just made an ornament!

Tips & Warnings

• Buy your salt and pepper shakers from yard sales, dollar stores and thrift stores to save money.
• They do not have to be in sets as different styles look great together.
• Decorate a gift with one of these ornaments rather than putting a bow on it.
• Decorate a mini tree in your kitchen or put one on your dining room table.
