    1. Make a Slide Show

        Sign in to Slide.com. Click "Make a Slideshow."

        The upload image interface at slide.com.

        Pick the images for your slideshow.

        Slideshow images can be taken from many sources, such as your Flickr.com account or your hard drive.

        If you are uploading from your hard drive, and you have image optimizing software such as Photoshop, Fireworks, or PaintShop Pro, it will save uploading time to run the photos you want in your slide show through image optimization before you begin.

        Slide.com has a simple customization interface.

        Slide.com offers many options for themes, effects, skins and even music to customize your slideshow.

        When you select the various customization options, you get a live preview right above the customization window that shows you how your new creation will look. Play with it until you find exactly the right combination of effects, skins or theme for your photos.

        Slide.com will automatically upload to your blog on MySpace or other popular sites.

        When you're satisfied, click "Save." This saves the slideshow and opens up a "get the code" interface that will help you upload directly to your blog or just get the code to paste into any web page.

        If you created a free URL at slide.com, such as:

        yourname.slide.com

        Your slideshow can also be viewed and shared there. You don't have to have a blog or website to send people see your slideshow.

    Tips & Warnings

    • If you are uploading photos from your hard drive, create a folder for the set of images you want to use before you sign in to Slide.com.

    • Be sure you own the license or copyright to any photos you use in your slideshow.
