Nothing is more annoying than pine sap on your car. The sticky substance obstructs your view and can been very difficult to remove. However, with a few easy steps, you can remove it from your car for good.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Old cloth
  • Water
  • Sticky Remover Solvent
  1. Step 1

    First, determine that the stain on your car is in fact tree sap. If it is, put a small amount of the solvent on the sap. Depending on what type you use, it may be a bit runny so you will want to wipe the excess up with the rag.

  2. Step 2

    Apply solvent onto all sap spots on the car. Allow each spot to soak for about 1-2 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Using the old rag, lightly moistened, scrub each spot until the stain is completely removed. Use a clean part of the cloth and wipe away all the excess solvent. Voila, the sap is completely removed.

Tips & Warnings
  • When using the solvent, a little goes a long way. You only need a small amount to do the job.
  • Test the solvent in an inconspicuous spot on your car first to make sure the solvent is car safe. Also read the label on your solvent, they are all a little different.
