Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go for a walk outdoors as close to nature as you can get and enjoy the beauty of the early morning. Gather flowers to decorate yourself, your home and a Maypole. Wash your face in the morning dew, it's believed that women who wash their face in the May morning dew will maintain a youthful appearance longer.

  2. Step 2

Dance the Maypole. The Maypole is a wonderful way to include children in Beltaine celebrations. The pole symbolizes the masculinity of the God and the light colored ribbons symbolize the femininity of the Goddess. When they intertwine it symbolizes their unity.

  3. Step 3

Prepare a wonderful feast. Breads and cereals are popular items to serve at Beltaine feasts. Get creative and make oatmeal cookies. Dairy foods are also customary during Beltaine. The feast should be like a lovely wedding feast for the God and Goddess.

  4. Step 4

Create a present to offer to the God and Goddess during your ritual. A small token like a wreathe of flowers or string of beads are the traditional gifts that are offered, but you can give whatever your heart desires.
