Tips & Warnings
Latex swim caps are the most popular swim cap choice, but if you have a latex allergy, silicon swim caps are a good substitute.
You should keep baby powder in your swim bag to put in your cap after use. Your cap may already be stuck together by the time you get home from the pool.
It is always a good idea to keep an extra swim cap in your bag in case your cap rips or gets punctured during use.
Swimmers with long hair may choose to use a Lycra swim cap. To care for a Lycra swim cap, you should rinse with cool, non-chlorinated water and hang the cap to dry after each use.
