How to Play You're Him

You're out for drinks with a friend and you find yourself observing the people around you. Perhaps you see somebody talking too loudly on their cell phone or another customer who has had too much too drink. If you have a friend who can appreciate your cruel sense of humor, then a game of You're Him can liven up the evening.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

1. Find a public place to watch people. The bar, a party or a carnival are perfect.
2. Choose an unsuspecting friend.
3. Find someone undesirable. This could be a rude driver, somebody with a bad haircut or even one of your friends who happens to be acting foolishly at the time. The possibilities are endless.
4. Point to that person and tell your friend, "You're him." Your friend then "becomes" that person and must live with that shame until she can turn the tables on you with an even more undesirable stranger.
5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 until you lose the will to play. In most cases, You're Him can continue indefinitely, unless everybody refuses to play. To win this game, you must outdo your partner until they give up.

Tips & Warnings

• Be sensitive. Although the game is inherently insensitive, do not play with a person you don't wish to offend.
• Use discretion. If a stranger sees you pointing at him and laughing, it may lead to unwanted confrontation; or you may be the undesirable person who becomes the target of somebody else's game of You're Him.
