Many people avoid the craps table because it looks complicated, but if you do, you're missing out on some of the best odds in the house. The house's advantage on a "Pass Line" bet is less than 1.5 percent, making this bet at the craps table one of the best in the casino. These steps will demonstrate how to bet the pass line.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Put your chips on the outer section of one end of the craps table marked "Pass Line." The shooter will roll the dice once all bets have been placed.
Step2
Win your bet if the roll totals 7 or 11. Lose if the roll totals 2, 3 or 12.
Step3
Place an additional (optional) bet behind your pass line bet if the roll totaled 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10.
Step4
Watch the next roll, called "The Point." For you to win, the number of this second roll must come up before a 7 does. If a 7 is rolled before "The Point," you lose. For example, if "The Point" roll totals 4, you win if the shooter rolls another 4 before he rolls a 7. If he rolls a 4 on "The Point," and then he rolls a 7 next, you lose.
Step5
Get even money on your pass line bet plus odds on the bet behind the pass line if the shooter rolls "The Point" before a 7.
