1
Split apart the egg carton. Cut one regular sized egg carton into four equal pieces. Each piece will have three of the egg holder sections and make one bat.
-
2
Cut a crescent moon shape on the front side of the outside sections of the egg carton piece. Cut the same shape in the back. This will make the bat's wings.
-
-
3
Paint the entire egg carton piece with your black paint. Put it to the side so it can dry.
-
4
Poke two holes in the top of the middle egg holder of your egg carton section once it is dry. Tie your thread through the holes to make a loop.
-
5
Glue the googly eyes to the middle section of your egg carton piece.
-
6
Hang your scary, new bats wherever you're lacking Halloween decorations.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't have any googly eyes, draw them on with white paint. If you don't have any white paint, try cutting small holes for the eyes.
If you don't have any thread, fishing line will make it look like the bats are flying instead of hanging by a thread.
