How to Make a Place Mat

• Greeting Cards
• Cardboard
• Clear Contact Paper
• Nontoxic Glues
• Yardsticks Or Measuring Tape
• Cardboard
• Rolling Pins
• Scissors
• Scissors

1. Gather old greeting cards, children's drawings or postcards.

2. Cut a piece of cardboard into a 16-by-10-inch mat.

3. Place and arrange cards and pictures on the cardboard mat.

4. Glue the cards into place.

5. Cover the mat with clear contact paper.

6. Trim the contact paper edges.

7. Press out any air bubbles in the contact paper using a rolling pin.
