Spend a nice cozy afternoon with your partner. Go to a large bookstore like Borders or Barnes & Nobles where you can read and look through different book topics together. You will be surprised at how close you might feel with your partner. You can share a coffee and sit down to discuss what you bought.

    • 2

Try not to bring your work home with you. No matter what age you are, it is important to make sure your work and family life are separate. Work should be left at work, and your family or partner should get time with you when you get home.

    • 3

Take a stroll on the beach with your partner. Wake up early and go see the sunrise or go in the evening to see the sun set. You may be over 50, but you can always take a skinny dip in the water with your partner if you are in a secluded area. Live on the edge and keep your relationship spicy.

    • 4

Set a night for romance. Take your partner out for a romantic dinner and dancing. Sometimes with the hustle and bustle of life, we forget to spend special time or make an effort with our partners. Plan a night and surprise them with a night they will not forget!

    • 5

Plan a picnic in a beautiful spot for both of you. Find a park that you both love and enjoy strolling through and plan a surprise picnic with snacks, champagne and a dessert. If you can, take a little radio with you and find a romantic channel to set the mood.
