2. Pick a central location. When family members are traveling from different directions to convene for a fun family vacation, it's important to pick a central location. You'll start out on the right foot if everyone has to travel approximately the same distance to get there.
3. Find a big hotel. It's fun when everyone stays at the same hotel, but the hotel you choose must be big enough to provide varied accommodations. The family members traveling with children will need amenities that the others can do without.
