How to Get Recruited by the NSA
Take part in this country's defense by applying to the National Security Administration (NSA). Initial steps are similar to what you'd take with any other employer. Set yourself up to have the best credentials out of everybody that submits a resume and get recruited by the NSA.

1
Go to the NSA website and thoroughly review it. Click on the "About" page to read NSA basics. Determine whether there's a match between the NSA and you.
-
2
Visit the career section on the website. Find the best job match between current NSA openings and your skills. For example, if you're good at mathematics, and you have a mathematics related major, then try to get recruited with their mathematics department.

3
Submit a good resume. Review the position's job requirements and put yourself in the recruiter's shoes. Ask yourself if you'd hire that person (with your resume) if someone had a "better" resume. If you answer "no," then work on improving your resume. Check out sites like Monster.com and CareerBuilder for resume resources.
-
4
Contact their human resources department and find out if the job you're looking for requires a classified clearance. If so, ask what steps you need to take to get one. Obtain "classified clearance" status as you cannot get recruited without one.
-
5
Apply online if that's more convenient for you. Create a new account, then create your resume on their application page. Update your resume as you gain experience as this improves your chances of recruitment.
