Respond promptly to inquiries. Set up an initial phone assessment to decide when and where you will have your first lesson and to find out the student's motivation for studying French, what level the student is at, and how often the student would like to meet.

Set up a policy for your French students requiring them to call at least 24 hours in advance if they can't make a lesson or if they're going to be late.
Ask for the student's feedback after each lesson to better prepare for the following lessons.
Don't provide any personal information such as phone number, address, or personal email in your advertisement or to inquiries that seem odd. Always talk with the student on the phone first to make sure that he is a legitimate customer before giving him your personal information.
