How to Request Anal Sex

For some, anal sex can cause a whole new type of orgasm. For others, it can be painful. And no matter which category you fall under, there's always the risk of tearing the anus and causing painful infection in either the giving or receiving end. Even so, many still engage in anal sex as the last frontier of uncharted sexual experiences.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Tell your partner you are interested in anal sex. If you can't talk about it bluntly at first, try bringing up your desire during some dirty talk. This can be an easy way to break the ice on such a touchy topic. But remember, even if your partner goes along with your dirty talk, it is not the green light into the bum.

  2. Step 2

Discuss anal sex again when you are both sober and after you both have reached orgasm. Because of the serious health risks involved, you and your partner should have a clear mind when discussing the possibility of anal sex. This time, assert that you are seriously interested in taking or giving a knock at the backdoor, and ask if your partner is interested too.

  3. Step 3

Make sure you are both informed of the risks and ways to prevent infections before you decide to give anal sex a try. If you are both still into it, pick out a good anal lube and make a list of rules, such as signal words to stop if things become painful.

  4. Step 4

Reassure your partner that they can back out at any time, whether it's just before penetration or just before orgasm. And make sure you stick to your word.

Tips & Warnings
  • Only consider anal sex with someone you trust implicitly. You should already have a sexual relationship with your partner and know how your partner operates in the sack before trying something as risky as anal sex.
  • Requesting anal sex should be the easy part, which is why this article is rated as "easy". Of course the hard part is deciding whether you and your partner should go through with it.
  • Continuing with anal sex while your partner tells you to stop or initiating anal sex without consulting your partner can be considered rape. Make sure you have the proper discussions beforehand and stop when and if asked.
  • Anal sex is just as illegal with a minor as any other type of sexual activity.
  • In some states, anal sex is illegal.
