How to Withdraw Funds From PayPal Account

PayPal is a very popular system and website for sending money to others and to pay for goods and services. If you have funds in your PayPal account, it is likely that at some point you will want to withdraw those funds. There's several ways to withdraw funds from PayPal.

Instructions

Step1
Logon to PayPal with your email address and password. You'll enter this information in the Member Log section that's in the upper left hand corner of the page.
Step2
Click on the blue tab near the top of the page that says "Withdraw" and it will take you to a new page with several options to withdraw funds from your PayPal account.
Step3
Review your options and select the method you'd like to use. Pay attention to any costs and processing times, which you'll find listed on the PayPal website.
Step4
Select the method and click on the one you want to use.
Step5
Enter the amount you wish to withdraw from your PayPal account and where you want the funds. Some options are a check to you or a transfer of funds to your bank account. Click "Continue" after you enter the dollar amount.
Step6
Confirm the PayPal transaction to withdraw funds. This completes your transaction.

Tips & Warnings

  • Apply for a PayPal debit card if you would like to withdraw your funds into a PayPal debit card or from an ATM machine. Follow the instructions on the PayPal website to apply for the PayPal debit card.
  • You can also use your PayPal funds to shop online at websites that accept PayPal.
  • Check your email account for a receipt outlining the transaction you have made. Save this email receipt for your records.
