Tips & Warnings

  • The following are considered national NABBA events: the National Bodybuilding Championships, the American National Bodybuilding Championships, the Natural United States Bodybuilding Championships and the Natural American Bodybuilding Championships. A win at any of these events can qualify you for the Mr. Universe competition.

  • NABBA events are run with height divisions instead of weight divisions.

  • The Mr. Universe competition began in England in 1950 and was strictly for amateurs. Two years later the professional division was added.
