How to Decorate a Locker
No longer are you forced to cram your books into some undersized school desk where everyone can go through your things. No, this year you have been assigned your very own locker. 1
Brainstorm your ultimate vision. There is nothing worse than a locker with too many ideas going on. Because that usually leads to not enough room. Think about your likes in sports, movies, music and more. And then think about how much you can actually fit inside your locker.

2
Acquire material for your locker. This includes cutting out pictures, making mini-collages on cardboard, printing pictures. Anything and everything that speaks to you. Your locker is a statement about you.

3
Add shelves to your locker before you decorate. Adding a second level can literally double the amount of usable space you have at your disposal. A shelf can easily be added by fitting a crate or by using a fit piece of wood. For the wood, you will have to measure and cut. The crate is the best method as it fits standard issue lockers and you have something to carry your belongings in as you decorate.

Make sure it is removable. Nothing is worse than getting to the end of the year and realizing the crazy glue isn't coming off. You will either have to pay a locker fine, or spend a couple of hours scraping pictures from "Homecoming" off your locker. Use tapes and adhesives that are easily removable.

5
Place your pictures and items inside your locker. You have thought about it, planned it, acquired the materials and now it is time to do it. Realize your vision and show it off for your friends. Just be sure to actually leave some room for school books. After all, nothing is worse than being the kid with no room in the locker and being forced to carry your 50 lbs. of books around all day.

Tips & Warnings
Remove gym clothes frequently. Nothing is worse than a smelly locker. Your locker mates will be less than flattered that they are near you.
Avoid living things in your locker. For one it is probably against the rules and it's really not fair to goldfish or plants to be cooped up all day.
