on 6/1/2009 I have had an ipod nano for a few months now. This has to be one of the most frustrating things that Apple could have come up with. Why on earth is there no function to either delete directly from the device while listening, or at least flag for deletion??? I have 8gigs of songs on this thing and there is no way I'm going to remember which songs I hated during the day once I am back home in front of my computer.I thought apple was all about being intuitive and user friendly?

on 12/13/2008 Great info. However, Apple seems to have changed the menus in iTunes. The "Manually manage music" option is now on the Summary page.
