Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Caffeine powder (buy actual powder, or grind caffeine pills)
  • Jello in multiple colors
  • Paper bathroom cups
  1. Step 1

Choose your poison. Decide how much caffeine you would like in your Jello shots. A 6-oz. box of Jello will make about 30 shots, so consider the intensity and how much Jello you want to ingest. Be careful to not add too much, a little goes a long way.

  2. Step 2

Make the caffeine powder if you have chosen to make the Jello shots with caffeine pills. Its best to grind the pills with a mortar and pestle.

  3. Step 3

Combine the powder and Jello mix in a large bowl and stir a bit.

  4. Step 4

Follow the standard recipe for Jello on the back of the package, adding boiling water and stirring. Remember to look closely at the liquid mixture, being absolutely sure all of the caffeine powder has dissolved.

  5. Step 5

Distribute the caffeinated Jello liquid evenly among the 30 paper cups and refrigerate until the Jello jiggles.

Tips & Warnings
  • Caffeine is a stimulant and can be harmful when taken in large doses, so be aware of how much you are eating, and do your math when calculating the amount of powder to mix into the Jello solution.
  • If you have a medical condition that generally prevents you from ingesting caffeine, it's no different just because it's in a tasty Jello form. If you have high blood pressure, heart disease, abnormal heartbeat or any other medical condition that brings some doubt or suspicion into your mind, talk to you doctor before ingesting caffeine of any form.
