Things You’ll Need:
- PVC
- Elbows
- PVC glue or sealant
- Adaptor to connect to hose/facet
- Drill
- Small bit
- Hand Saw
Step1
Create a design or blue print of a sprinkler. Sketch out your idea on a piece of paper to see your idea come to life.
Step2
Determine size, shape and how you want your sprinkler to function.
Step3
Get PVC from your local hardware store or use pieces that you may have left over from another project.
Step4
Cut PVC to size with a hand saw according to blue print.
Step5
Make holes in the PVC. Take each piece and drill holes approximately 2 inches apart on one side of the length of PVC.
Step6
Layout PVC into shape that you have designed.
Step7
Take PVC elbows and attach them to the corners of your design to piece all of the PVC together.
Step8
Seal around the elbow joints to secure the entire sprinkler together.
Step9
Allow sealant to dry.
Step10
Add an adapter to the connect to the hose.
Step11
Connect and turn on the water and watch your creation sprinkle the yard or even entertain the kids.
