How to Make a Lawn Sprinkler

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• PVC
• Elbows
• PVC glue or sealant
• Adaptor to connect to hose/facet
• Drill
• Small bit
• Hand Saw

1. Create a design or blue print of a sprinkler. Sketch out your idea on a piece of paper to see your idea come to life.

2. Determine size, shape and how you want your sprinkler to function.

3. Get PVC from your local hardware store or use pieces that you may have left over from another project.

4. Cut PVC to size with a hand saw according to blue print.

5. Make holes in the PVC. Take each piece and drill holes approximately 2 inches apart on one side of the length of PVC.

6. Layout PVC into shape that you have designed.

7. Take PVC elbows and attach them to the corners of your design to piece all of the PVC together.

8. Seal around the elbow joints to secure the entire sprinkler together.

9. Allow sealant to dry.

10. Add an adapter to the connect to the hose.

11. Connect and turn on the water and watch your creation sprinkle the yard or even entertain the kids.
