Not many things are more enjoyable than spending time at a tailgate party with friends and family. Whether it be high school, college or pro football, tailgate parties provide a perfect way to catch up with old friends, eat some great food and prepare yourself for the big game.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Invite your friends. Get to know who your guests will be beforehand, so you know what they like to eat, drink and when they will arrive.
Step2
Prepare your menu in advance. Nobody wants to get to a tailgate party, set up, and then have to go out to get more supplies. People have various tastes for food and drinks, so make sure that everyone in attendance is either bringing what they want, or that it will be provided for them. You will also need to make sure that you have all the necessary cooking supplies and that they all are functional.
Step3
Entertain your guests. Make sure that a TV or radio is working so you and your guests can keep up-to-date with other games.
Step4
Charge your cell phone. Friends will come by just to say "Hi," so don't forget to have that cell phone charged so you can meet up with them.
Step5
Support your team. Make sure that your team's colors, logo, etc. are all displayed prominently. Leave no doubt who your team is and what you intend to happen in the upcoming game.
