Decide on a budget. Before visiting the resort, decide how much money you want to spend. You will get better value if you go with one of the all-inclusive packages that the resort offers. The on-site restaurants and spa can be a little bit pricey, so visit the website or call the resort to determine what exactly you want to do on your vacation.

Take advantage of the service. There are far more employees on the resort than there are guests, and all of them are more-than-willing to go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Make an appointment at The Spa. The Spa at Little Dix Bay is a luxurious part of the resort that is a must-see for everyone. Pick out a treatment that is good for you and get to the spa early. The infinity pool at the spa looks out over the Sir Francis Drake Channel from high atop a cliff and is only available for people that have scheduled spa treatments. Even if you don't want a spa treatment, the pool at the spa is well worth the price of admission.

Snorkel in the bay. Little Dix Bay is a reef-protected bay that doesn't get much water traffic, so the reef just outside the bay provides a great place for the entire family to explore the marine life. Several creatures including sea turtles, yellow snappers and some stingrays inhabit the reef, which is just a 3-minute swim from the shore. Snorkels and other water activities equipment are available at the Beach Hut located at the end of the pier.

5
Eat at the Sugar Mill. The Sugar Mill is the luxurious restaurant located near the check-in counter. This restaurant is only open for dinner Monday through Saturday and offers steaks, seafood and salads, all with the Caribbean theme.

6
Drink a painkiller. The painkiller is a local drink in the British Virgin Islands. Enjoy one at the Pavilion Bar or the Beach Bar in Little Dix Bay.

7
Reserve a cabana. There are roughly 40 cabanas on the beach at Little Dix Bay, and they are available to any guest on a first-come, first-serve basis. These cabanas have two lounge chairs, a beach chair, an umbrella and a table. It can get hot, so a shaded place is a must to cool off from the sun.
