Things You'll Need:
- Game tickets
- Motel room
- Flight reservations
-
Step 1
Cheer on your college baseball team to victory and as soon as they clinch that title go to the Stubhub website for tickets to as many games as you can see in the week that is the College World Series in Omaha.
-
Step 2
Book a motel room as soon as you have tickets. Rosenblatt Stadium is in South Omaha just east of downtown. There are not a lot of inexpensive motel rooms directly around the stadium but you can drive about 6 minutes over the bridge to Council Bluffs, Iowa, and find plenty of lodging along Interstate 80.
-
Step 3
Take advantage of another attraction in Omaha when you go to the College World Series. Rosenblatt Stadium is just a few blocks from the Henry Doorly Zoo, one of the best in the country.
-
Step 4
Eat at great restaurants when you visit Omaha for the College World Series. South Omaha is known for a steakhouse that has been there for over 50 years. Johnny's Cafe is near the old Omaha stockyards at 4702 South 27th Street. Call 402-731-4774 for reservations at this popular spot in town.
-
Step 5
Fly into Omaha if you live too far away to drive. Epply Airfield is one of the easiest airports to navigate and all major airlines fly in and out of Omaha.
