How to Tube Virginia
The State of Virginia is full of wonderful rivers and scenery to watch as you float down river and admire the crisp blue skies of Virginia. Tubing down the James River, while well known to tubers and canoe enthusiasts, isn't the only tubing available in Virginia. Grab your cooler, your inner tube and friends and go tubing using the following as a guide.

Tube the Shenandoah River. Choose the lower way to travel on the Shenandoah rivers class 1 rapids. This tubing adventure can begin in Harper's Ferry or further down river.

Drop your tube in the Potomac River. Begin your adventure at Harper's Ferry, west Virginia. Be prepared for the class 1 through 3 rapids. Plan on an hour to three and a half hours.
