How to Be a Beauty and the Beast Fan

Beauty and the Beast is a traditional fairy tale. Although the original story has been around for over 200 years, it increased in popularity when Disney produced an animated production in 1991. It won Academy Awards for Best Song and Best Original Score and it is the only animated film ever nominated for Best Picture.

• Disney store
• Disney Land, Disney World, Disney theme parks
• Beauty and the Beast memorabilia

1. See the movie and learn the lyrics to the songs. This is simple because the songs are so catchy everyone wants to sing them. If you haven't gotten the words down yet, hum the music so everyone knows you are a fan.
2. Collect snow globes of Beauty and the Beast, Belle dolls and any other items you can find. Make sure you display them in prominent places in your room or home so you can talk about them easily. You can find all sorts of Beauty and the Beast items at the Disney Store online.
3. Wear t-shirts and other clothing that have Beauty and the Beast displayed. When anyone comments on the items, launch into a dialogue about the movie, the characters and everything else associated with the show.
4. Get tickets to the Broadway show. Brag about the show and try to convert others to become Beauty and the Beast fans.
5. Make a wish list of Beauty and the Beast memorabilia that you would like to have but can't yet afford. Let people see the list so they will know what to buy you.
6. Visit Disney Land, Disney World and the other Disney Theme Parks to see the characters in person. Make sure you get autographs.
7. Impersonate either Beauty or the Beast at one of Disney's parks. This is the ultimate way to be a Beauty and the Beast fan.
