Buying Disney collectibles can be time consuming and expensive. The following steps will provide you with all you need to know to buy Disney collectibles.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Disney store
  • Gift stores
  1. Step 1

Decide on what you want to collect. You may want to have a particular character or group of characters--such as Beauty and the Beast collectibles. Alternatively, you can collect specific Disney items such as pins, magnets, stuffed animals or dolls.

  2. Step 2

Shop at the Disney store and Disney online. You can get good deals all year round and if you make a purchase at Disney online, they will ask for your email address and you will be advised of specials in the future.

  3. Step 3

Check out Hallmark and other gift stores. They will have a line of Disney items, such as ornaments and crystal pieces, as well as dolls and other items.

  4. Step 4

Order from places like Lennox and Grolier. This way you can get your collectibles every month or six weeks and you don't have to pay the full amount all at once. When you order from Lennox, they will bill you in three installments.

  5. Step 5

Stop at yard and sidewalk sales. You never know what you may find--especially at yard sales. Remember, one man's junk is another man's gold.

  6. Step 6

Visit Disney Land, Disney World or one of the other Disney Theme Parks. They will have plenty of Disney collectibles. They may be more expensive but you may be able to find that particular item that you just have to have.

Tips & Warnings
  • Start a wish list--this will help keep the expense down.
  • Never pass up a yard sale or sidewalk sale. You never know what you may find.
