Save money on expensive beauty products. Using fresh and natural products straight from your kitchen in your beauty regimen can give you a healthy and natural glow. Follow the simple steps below and make an egg facial mask that leaves skin refreshed and clean with a healthy glow.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Crack open an egg into a small mixing bowl. Beat with a whisk or fork until well blended.
Step2
Add 1 tsp. of honey and mix well. Add 1/4 tsp. of apple cider vinegar and mix well.
Step3
Mix in the lavender essential oil. For oily skin, you may substitute lemon essential oil in the place of the lavender. You need to mix for awhile for it to be well blended, since it will not absorb into the egg easily.
Step4
Wash face and neck thoroughly. Pat dry with a clean towel after rinsing with lukewarm water. Rubbing with a towel, or using water too hot or cold may damage the skin.
Step5
Use fingertips to generously spread the egg mixture on the face and neck.
Step6
Allow the mixture to dry completely while relaxing. This should take about twenty minutes. When the facial mask is dry, it tightens up and makes it difficult to move the facial muscles.
Step7
Rinse completely with lukewarm water, and pat dry again with the towel. Once again, avoid rubbing harshly with the towel. Disregard the excess egg facial mask. It will not keep since it uses fresh egg as the main ingredient.
