Cabin kits can be a difficult project and isn't really the kind of Do it yourself task you can knock out in 2 or 3 weekends. The kit building process is alot more complicated than the lincoln log you grew up with and often times turn into more of a headache than there worth. I would reccomend looking into a modular built cabin from a company like Zook Cabins. Getting something modular takes the headache out of trying to assemble a kit and offers many more options than standard kits.
