How to Make Coconut Lemonade

Things You'll Need

  • 6 to 8 Mint leaves
  • Additional mint leaves to garnish
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 1 Cup mixed lemon juice and lime juice
  • Rum, optional
  • 1/2 Gallon of water or more to taste
  • Lemon and lime slices
  • Sweetened shredded coconut
  • Large Pitcher
  • Glasses with ice
  • Fancy tropical umbrellas for drinks

Instructions

      Grind the mint leaves with a mortar and pestle into a large pitcher.

      Mix in sugar, lemon juice, and lime juice. Add rum at this point to taste if so desired.

      Add water.

      Place the juice in the refrigerator until chilled.

      Add ice to glasses, lemon slices, lime slices and shredded coconut in glasses.

      Pour the chilled juice into the glasses over the lemons, limes and coconuts.

Tips & Warnings
