Things You'll Need:
- Internet connection
- Email address
-
Step 1
Choose a forum. You can base this on whether you just want to talk to other players or read others' posts about specific information like player stats, injury news or strategies for drafting your own fantasy team.
-
Step 2
Visit the main forum website and set up a profile. Generally this takes a few minutes and involves choosing an online nickname and providing your email address. The site might also send an email for you to reply to. This is done to confirm that you are a real person and not software that is spamming the forum with advertising.
-
Step 3
Enter the forum once you are a member and choose whether you want to start a new topic or post a reply to someone else's. "Threads" are ongoing conversations. If you don't find a thread that pertains to your topic, you can start a new one about your subject.
-
Step 4
Type your post into the message box and look it over. When you are done, click the "submit" button.
-
Step 5
Reply to any responses you receive by opening the message, clicking the "reply" button, typing your reply and clicking the "submit" button again.
-
Step 6
Close the forum post after you get the answer you are looking for (if the site gives you this option). That way other posters cannot respond after you stop checking for answers, which is considered good forum etiquette.
