Buy an Official NASCAR Jacket

Step1
Visit a flea market. Official NASCAR jackets can sometimes be found at these venues. Kiosks with a high volume of jackets often sell them for excellent prices.
Step2
Attend charity auctions. If a charity auction is being held for someone who loves NASCAR or who has a NASCAR connection, you may find that NASCAR jackets are on the bidding block.
Step3
Check out an online auction. There are several of these sites on the Internet these days. As fans get new jackets, their old ones often end up for auction on the Web. You may even find a bargain!
Step4
Visit the NASCAR.com Superstore website (see Resources below). This is the official NASCAR store on the Internet. You can get an official NASCAR jacket there, as well as a host of other NASCAR apparel and merchandise.
Step5
Buy a jacket at the track. When you attend a NASCAR race in person, you will often find a variety of branded merchandise for sale at the track, including jackets.
Step6
Shop at a local sporting goods store. NASCAR drivers often give certain sporting goods stores, especially national chains, licenses to sell their official merchandise.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can try to win an official NASCAR jacket through a contest. Local sports equipment stores, radio stations and charities may sometimes hold contests in which one of the prizes is a NASCAR jacket. The most likely time for these contests to be held is when an important race is coming up.
  • Watch out for counterfeit NASCAR merchandise. Most NASCAR drivers and individual tours have their own product lines and apparel. These product lines are officially sanctioned by the individual drivers and sponsoring companies. Vendors peddling unsanctioned items sometimes set up shop in front of sports stores or the parking lots of racetracks. Be on the lookout for them. If it doesn't look official, it probably isn't. Call the police if you suspect counterfeit NASCAR merchandise is being sold in your area.
