How to Make Drain Cleanser without Toxic Chemicals!

If your drains are slow or have a persistent odor use this simple cleanser once a week to keep drains fresh and clog-free.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 Cup baking soda
  • 1 Cup white vinegar
  • 1 Gallon hot water
Step1
Pour 1/2 cup baking soda down the drain. and then 1 cup of vinegar.
Step2
Then pour 1 cup of vinegar down the drain.
Step3
Allow the mixture to foam for several minutes before flushing the drain with 1 gallon of very hot water.

Tips & Warnings

  • Must follow steps in the order stated!
  • Use caution when using hot water!
