How to Become a Pick Up Artist (PUA) in the UK

Following the massive international success of the Neil Strauss book, The Game, the pick-up community in the UK has well and truly blossomed. Several small companies have sprung up in London (run by self-confessed Pick Up Artists and their friends) that offer sexually frustrated men the chance to learn how to be more proactive when talking to, dating and bedding, attractive women. Today, if you have enough time, money and dedication, it is relatively easy to become a Pick-Up Artist in this country.

1. Read Neil Strauss’ best selling book, The Game. Take notes on pick-up techniques used in the book and apply these to your own life.
2. Read Mystery’s, The Mystery Method. This is a step by step guide to picking-up and dating women that you can use to develop your own pick-up style.
3. Read a book on Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) to find out about how words can affect social situations, and how you can improve the way you come across in situations, such as nightclubs.
4. Visit www.pick-up-artist-forum.com (one of many online PUA forums) to discuss problems that affect you when sarging with other Pick-Up Artists.
5. Go to www.stylelife.com, an online community created by Neil Strauss for wannabe PUA’s.
6. Go on a Boot Camp. Reading will help you to develop your understand of the PUA lifestyle and learn some techniques for picking up girls. However, if you really want to develop your skill-set you should attend a weekend course.
7. Visit www.puauk.com (an online guide to the PUA community) to find reviews on some of the best courses and Boot Camps on offer in the UK.
8. Start going out in your spare time to “Day Game”. This is daytime sarging, the process of talking to girls in the day, in shops, bars and cafes. Use opinion openers and totally random questions. What do you have to lose?!

Tips & Warnings

• Day Game works well in central London at weekends when there are a lot of people about to talk to, most of whom are in a good mood!
• Be determined, but be careful not to be too forceful. If someone doesn’t want to speak to you, leave them alone!
• Always be open and honest with girls. Never start multiple relationships without discussing your PUA lifestyle with someone!
