How to make chapatti

wanted to try something different? indian bread? well this article just teaches you how to make chapatti! very simple and delicious.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • rolling pin
  • elephant atta
  • water
  • pan
  • butter (optional)

Step1
Firstly to make the chapatti dough mix the atta with water and nead it till it becomes a smooth dough. Leave in the fridge overnight.
Step2
Get the pan ready on medium heat. Whilst the pan heats up roll a hand-palm sized dough to a circle, no thicker then 5mm.
Step3
Lastly put the chapatti on the pan for 1 minute before turning it over. When the chapatti starts to bubbly and rise abit turn it over till the whole chapatti rises.

Tips & Warnings

  • before rolling the dough out, apply a little elephant atta on your work top.
  • be careful not to overcook as it'll taste crunchy and not too nice.
