Instructions

    • 1

Choose any flowers. Use roses, peonies, carnations, daisies or any others that are available. It's best to fill your floating floral arrangement near to area where it's going to be on display. Use a large basket and place small jars inside to hold a different floating bloom.

    • 2

Pick a glass or plastic container that is see through to make the floral arrangement. Make a small circle cut into bubble wrap, and thread the stem of your bloom through the center of the circle. This keeps the blooms floating evenly.

    • 3

Cut the stems from the flower leaving at least an inch which allows the flower to take in the water it needs.

    • 4

Fill the container with water leaving a small amount of space at the top to add the flowers. It is more interesting to see the bloom above and below the water.

    • 5

Start by adding the larger blooms to the container first. Once they are in place, add your smaller cut blooms to fill the container. Add candles to a larger floating floral arrangement for a romantic touch.

Tips & Warnings

  • Instead of the whole bloom, just add flower petals to the water. They can either be placed to float at the top, or you can fill the container from top to bottom with water and petals.

  • Use crystal dessert cups, large pickling jars, decorative crystal bowls, glass candle holders or any other containers.

  • Make sure the container you use is water tight.
