Create your own valentines instead of buying them at the store. Your valentines will mean more to your family and friends because you took the time to make something special. Add a sweet lollipop to make it an even better Valentine's Day.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Colored construction paper
  • Lollipops
  • Pencil
  • Gel pens
  • Glitter
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  1. Step 1

Draw hearts on the different colors of construction paper or print some off the computer. Measure the hearts to the lollipops when drawing them to make sure that they cover the base of the lollipop just enoug, but completely.

  2. Step 2

Write valentine messages on one side of each heart and address them to your friend of choice. Use gel pens or glitter.

  3. Step 3

Draw leaves of the same size on green construction paper. You will need two per valentine.

  4. Step 4

Cut out your hearts and leaves.

  5. Step 5

Tape the heart to one side of the lollipop with the message showing. Double-sided tape makes it easier to do this, but you can use regular scotch tape.

  6. Step 6

Tape two leaves to your lollipop valentine, on opposite sides of the stick. Make one a little higher than the other.

  7. Step 7

Give your lollipop valentines to all your family and friends.

Tips & Warnings
  • When drawing your hearts try to make them all the same size or as close to the same size as you can.
  • You can use heart-shaped lollipops or any kind of lollipop for this Valentine's Day craft.
