1
Capture a memory in a baby handprint or footprint paperweight. Press an amount of clay sufficient to capture an impression into a small margarine tub. Coat a baby's foot or a toddler's hand with a little petroleum jelly and press it into the quick-drying modeling clay. Pop the impression out of the margarine tub when dry and smooth the edges.

2
Buy the economy-size gallon of ice cream and portion it into smaller margarine tubs. Store the ready-to-use single servings in the freezer.

3
Pour and save a little paint from each room into a margarine tub. Carry the tub around instead of the gallon of paint during final inspection at the end of the job, and save it for touch-ups later. Mark the lid with the paint name, formula and room.

4
Use small margarine tubs to pack food for the road for the baby. Toss the unbreakable containers after the meal.
-
5
Pack your pets' food and water in the larger margarine tubs for travel. Fill a couple of tubs with ice cubes for a cool drink farther down the road.
-
6
Punch up a sack lunch by sending berries, fruit salad or rice mix in a small, easy-to-open margarine tub. Pitch the disposal container after the meal.
-
7
Freeze soups and stocks in sturdy margarine tubs and other plastic containers. Allow food to cool sufficiently to lessen condensation.
