Step 1
Get in the water with the wakeskate and rope in your hands. Face the boat and place the board in front of you.
-
Step 2
Put the wakeskate so that it is perpendicular to the boat. The front and back of the wakeskate should be pointed to the sides, not straight in front of you or straight behind you. The grip side should be facing up.
-
Step 3
Prop your heels up on the wakeskate and lay backwards in the water, perpendicular to it. Keep both hands on the rope handle, palms facing down, positioned at your stomach.
-
Step 4
Get tension in the rope by having the driver put the boat in gear. As the boat speeds up slightly, the wakeskate will turn up against your soles.
-
Step 5
Bend your knees and touch your butt to your heels. Hold the rope in front of your knees.
-
Step 6
Stand up gradually, putting most of your weight on the leg that will be in back to help the wakeskate face straight ahead of you.
-
Step 1
Get in the water with rope and wakeskate.
-
Step 2
Submerge your wakeskate under water and stand on it. Make sure it's perpendicular to the boat.
-
Step 3
Give the boat driver the signal to start pulling forward. Hold onto your rope with both hands, palms facing down, and slightly bend your knees.
-
Step 4
Keep your weight over the top of your board, not behind you, as you lean back slightly holding the tightened rope.
-
Step 5
Allow the boat to pull you up out of the water. Put most of your weight on your back leg to rotate the wakeskate and your body into the correct riding position.
