1
Prepare for your project by first measuring the walls that you plan to fabric. Take the measurements with you when you go to shop for fabric. Get extra material to allow for mistakes and pattern matching. Wash the walls to remove any dirt and allow them to dry before you begin.

2
Cut the fabric into panels to match the height of the wall. Add 1 inch of extra material at the top and bottom edges of the fabric. If you're using patterned material, match the pattern of the fabric along the wall to create a seamless look. Adjust the fabric when you cut it to ensure that each panel has the same pattern.

Spray starch on the top half of the wall, covering it evenly. Place 1 fabric panel on the wall and secure it with push pins. Using a dry paint roller, smooth fabric over the area that has been starched. After the top is secure, starch the remaining section of wall and smooth the fabric to the floor.

4
Remove wrinkles from the fabric by spraying starch on top of it once it's in place. Smooth out any wrinkles by using the paint roller. Spray the starch evenly across the fabric.

5
Cover the wall by placing additional panels beside the previous panel. Repeat Steps 3 and 4, covering the wall completely. Make sure that the pattern matches with each panel.
-
6
Finish the walls by trimming the excess material off the edges once the fabric is dry. Once the edges are trimmed, remove the push pins and enjoy your new wall.
