Decide who will be attending the party, and where it will be held. Apres ski parties are best at the bottom of a slope or in a chalet near the bottom. Rent a cozy hotel room with a fireplace, a chalet or a house near the slope.

Create a menu of hors d'ourves and appetizers. Serve homemade chicken noodle soup with thick plump noodles to warm up with. Use any recipe that allows you to make the dish a day in advance. For example, hot buffalo wings purchased frozen and chunky bleu cheese dressing can be made ahead of time. French or Italian bread cut into pieces with a roasted garlic and olive oil dip is a delight and very filling.
