2. Choose the type of camera you wish to purchase—a cheaper compact model or a more expensive higher end model. Kodak Easy Share makes digital cameras in five different series; point and shoot C, compact and stylish M, powerful P, pocket size V and advanced Z.

3. Check the resolution and zoom to find the highest quality camera in your budget. Kodak cameras range from the C533 with 5.0 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom to the Z1275 with 20.0 megapixels and a 5x optical zoom.
