Organize a college dorm Halloween party. Decorate your dorm with witches, pumpkins and other Halloween décor. Hold a contest for the best-decorated floor or dorm room and award prizes to the winners. Send invitations that require costumes and have everyone who attends vote in several categories, including Best Costume, Worst Costume and Most Outrageous Mask.

  3. Step 3

Discover tales of reported ghost sightings at your college. Gather a group of friends and share your ghostly tales in a darkened room. Visit the haunted site as midnight approaches. If you college doesn't have any ghost stories, make them up.

  4. Step 4

Tell unsettling urban legends around candlelight if your college is not haunted. Test your knowledge of what urban legends are true or false, focusing on Halloween-based legends.

  5. Step 5

Watch horror flicks late into the night with your college pals. Plan a sleep-over for those who live in other dorms and become afraid to venture out at night.

  6. Step 6

Eat candy. Lots of it. Halloween is the perfect excuse for pigging out.
