How to Use a Nordic Track

A Nordic Track is a piece of exercise equipment designed to give you a total body workout. You can adjust the levels of difficulty, making this a machine even beginners can use. Follow these steps to workout on a Nordic Track.

Instructions

      Press any buttons or begin pedaling to turn on the power. When the display and indicators light up and flash, the Nordic Track is powered up and ready to use.

      Select the manual mode or a preset program. The manual mode allows you to set the pace and resistance. A preset program sets the pace and resistance levels for you, depending on which program you choose.

      Adjust the resistance of the pedals if you choose the manual mode. The stronger the resistance, the better workout you'llreceive.

      If you pick a preset program, press "Start" to begin. Monitor your progress on the LED display.

      Use the information on the digital display. The display shows your calories burned, distance covered, heart rate and time so you can monitor the effectiveness of your workout.

      Place your feet on the foot pedals and grasp the upper body arms of the Nordic Track. Begin pedaling while pushing the Nordic Track upper arms forward with your hands. Continue this movement until your workout is complete.

Tips & Warnings

  • Never exercise above your recommended heart rate level. Talk to your physician before beginning this workout.

  • Never step off this machine while it is in use.

  • Keep young children away from this machine to prevent injury.
