How to Store a Newborn's Clothes
Newborn babies are small and precious. This is a stage of life that passes quickly. To make the most of your time with your newborn and preserve your memories, the convenient and safe storage of your newborns clothes is important.

1
Keep up with laundry. Taking care of a newborn can be hectic, so it's a good idea to have a supply of clean clothes handy. Stock up on basic items, like onesies, to cut down on the time you spend doing laundry. Newborn-size clothes are so small, you don't need to fold them.

2
Organize convenient storage. It may be inconvenient to run to the dresser every time you change your newborn's clothes. Keep a supply of clean onesies in a basket on the changing table, in the bathroom and anywhere else you're likely to change your baby.

Save the special outfits. Newborns grow fast, so you may only get one wearing out of some of those precious outfits you received at the shower. Keep a plastic storage box handy in the laundry room. Sort out the clothes that no longer fit as they come out of the dryer. The best time to store baby clothes is when they've just been cleaned.

4
Skip the hangers. Many newborn outfits come on customized hangers from the store display. While they look cute and organized on these hangers, the hangers are of no use once you get them home. Take the clothes off the little hangers and discard them. You'll waste precious time and energy trying to return the clothes to the hangers after you wash them, and in reality, babies don't always wear all the pieces of an outfit at the same time. Store newborn clothes in baskets, on shelves, or in drawers to allow quick access and easy mix and match.
